Re: The Hunger Games
A lot of people are already claiming its one of the best films of recent times. I doubt that but it does look good. My missus has read the book.

Really? Who said that? My sources say there are no reviews yet.

Not particularly looking forward to it, but I'd be happy if it became a successful franchise. Harry Potter's left a large gap in the world of cinema.

Can't remember what website it was but it was definitely Hawaiian. It screened there first so they obviously reviewed it first.

IMDB has 7 user reviews too.

Don't know anything about the film, but I do love the song Taylor Swift & The Civil Wars have done for the soundtrack.

I'll probably go and see this for Taylor Swift and her song which I have heard lots of times anyway

Highly doubt that. It's not exactly based on award-winning material. The books were OK, but it was really the plot that made me finish them. The writing was mostly meh.

Just the reviews I've read. I've read a fair few user reviews that have said it's good but not out of this world.

Also, the bolded.

Re: The Hunger Games
The first book was good, the plot in the other two started getting a bit iffy. Should be a good movie, although they've probably taken out a lot of the violence to make it more child friendly which I think ruins it.

This looks dreadful, in my opinion.

Re: The Hunger Games
Yeah, apparently it's very good. 15 positive reviews out of 15 by professional critics so far. Looks like this might be the big franchise for the next couple of years considering that it's looking good critically and bound to succeed commercially due to the large fan-base.
